Distinguished Deltas: Clayton Freeman

Ping Pong Champion

Clayton Freeman is a junior in Delta Delta Delta with a well-kept hidden talent! When she isn't hitting the books as a pre-nursing Spanish major, she's hitting ping pong balls in UNC intramural tournaments! So far, Clayton has four intramural ping pong championships under her belt and is undefeated in any tournament she participated in.

Last year, Clayton took home the coveted intramural championship t-shirt for women's singles,  women's doubles and co-ed doubles. She even competed against a nationally ranked player in co-ed doubles! This year Clayton also took home first place in women's doubles and was unable to compete in the other events due to scheduling conflicts.

Clayton says she learned the sport from playing with her dad growing up and competed against neighbors ages 16 - 60 in tournaments all her life. Way to show off the many talents of Tri Delta, Clayton!
