New Year's Date Night 2014

Happy New Year!! Tri Delta celebrated another great New Year in September! As a cherished annual date function theme, the Tri Delta ladies dressed in their best sparkles and invited their dashing dates to ring in the "new year." The night was celebrated at The Library - the classic Chapel Hill venue - and was definitely another evening to remember!

Happy 71st Birthday Alpha Sigma!

Happy birthday to the UNC Chapter of Delta Delta Delta! On this day in 1943, Alpha Sigma was founded. Happy 71st birthday to us!

Big & Little Reveal!

The newest Tri Deltas are officially littles! Thanks to our awesome Sponsorship Chairman, Krissi Fajgenbaum, all of the 2014 pledge class have been assigned their bigs, grand-bigs and beyond! The balloon-popping reveal introduced the new pledge class to their bigs for a week a gift giving. We're so happy to help the new members get to know Tri Delta better through family bonding!

Throw Down To Your Hometown Mixer

Tri Delta kicked off the first mixer of the school year! Tri Delta members wore their best hometown gear along with ADPi, Beta and Kappa Sig at Pulse Nightclub. The mixer was a great start to the school year and an awesome way for new members to get to know the ladies of Tri Delta and others in the UNC Greek community!

BID DAY 2014!

Welcome Pledge Class of 2014!

We are extremely excited to welcome 59 new members to Tri Delta! All of the members have been working hard all week and the process could not have been more rewarding. A huge thank you goes out to the entire recruitment team, including Anna Clarkson, Caroline Bell, Betsy Masich and Alissa Browder!

This year, Tri Delta celebrated Bid Day with a Las Vegas Casino theme! All of the ladies were sporting their best red, black and gold while getting to know the new members. After being serenaded by the UNC Clef Hangers, jumping on the velcro wall and dancing to the DJ, the ladies of Tri Delta couldn't be more satisfied with 2014 Panhellenic Recruitment! Another special thank you goes to Holland McGraw for organizing another great Bid Day!

Distinguished Deltas: Krissi Fajgenbaum

Robertson Scholar

Krissi Fajgenbaum is a Delta Delta Delta senior with a lot to offer. Krissi is currently the Sponsorship Chairman on the Recruitment Committee for Tri Delta - and that's only the beginning! As an esteemed Robertson Scholar, Krissi has a unique full scholarship that allows her to be dually enrolled at UNC-CH and Duke! This means Krissi spends her time living and taking pre-med classes between both universities. While we hate to see Krissi occasionally sport Duke blue, she received the wonderful opportunity to spend a semester living on Duke's campus and affiliating with the Alpha Omicron chapter of Tri Delta at Duke University.

Amongst her Robertson Scholar accomplishments, Krissi is also an Honors student who frequently shadows physicians at UNC Hospitals and swims on the UNC Club Swim Team. Krissi also spent her college undergraduate summers volunteering in Bali, South Africa and New Orleans. 

With all that Krissi has already accomplished, we know it won't be long before she achieves her dream of becoming a doctor!

Many Tri Deltas pick junior year as a chance to leave the Chapel Hill bubble and see the world through traveling abroad! This spring, we had seven Tri Delta members spend the semester across the globe from Singapore to Spain. While we're glad to have these adventurous ladies back in the fall, take a look at where many of them spent the semester studying:
